Reid Salad

I was told about this salad last night and immediately my curiosity was piqued; so first thing this morning I went over to Piazza Vittorio to pick up the essentials. At first I thought, "avocados and grapefruit, really?" but its really delicious. and... quenching.
I also love the colors =) - Thanks, Peter.

Ingredients: Avocado, grapefruit, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil.

Living in California, I add avocados to almost everything... every sandwich, every sushi roll, every salad, every omelette and egg dish, mango salsa on salmon ... floating on soup, of course Mexican food and yes, with grapefruit! ... OK, I'll stop now.

Enjoy!

This looks delicious, great shots too...i'm makin' this today for lunch...its sunny today but very, very cold & fresh snow covers everything...do you think if i put a freshly made very spicy salsa would it compliment or ruin this most excellent combo you have here? i will try both...i'm extra hungry for both!!!

Ciao!
