Pienza {2}

I photographed a wedding yesterday in Pienza, Tuscany. Besides the gorgeous views and the amazing villa, I had a great time with my Bride and Groom! I'll be posting their sneak peak soon!

Italia via Instagram

I Haven't taken my SLR out very much. (bad gina) I do plan on it once I'm settled into my place, Which by the way I found in the paper, by luck. It's a cute place in Monti off of Via Nazionale.
So yes, I move in next Wednesday. Until then I've been taking photographs with my iPhone and playing with a very addictive app called, Instagram. It's my favorite thing to do on my iPhone. It also allows to share with everyone instantly.

I'll be posting the Bari wedding tomorrow. I was thinking of taking a little road trip into Tuscany but realized I have much work to catch up on. Instead, this weekend I'll stay roman and have a picnic in the park with friends. I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!

24hrs in Barcelona

I took a 6AM flight to Barcelona yesterday morning. I arrived around 8AM and spent most of my morning and afternoon walking around, photographing and a short bike tour.

Several people warned me about the pickpocketing that took place in Barcelona so I carried around my money and my ATM in a pocket wallet, under my shirt. The second I pulled it out to pay for my water, I was knocked on my ass by a guy who swiped it from my hands and ran off.

A long and melodramatic scenario took place after this but I've slept only 5 hours in the past 2 days and the point is after desperate measures and help from friends and family, I'm home safe in Roma. I'm planning another trip out there late next month.I'll post a few of the photographs I took with my camera tomorrow.

il treno

I spent the weekend in Cortona, Italy. This small city is located in the hills of Tuscany. It's charming, and the view from the top is absolutely spectacular. I stayed with a friend who introduced me to some of Cortona's townspeople. Lovely families, restaurant owners, and even the town drunk =D - More pictures and stories coming this week.

These were all taken with the camera phone.
